Giclée printing is an extremely well known system used by Museums around the world to substitute orignal works of art that are too delicate or fragile to exhibit.
Giclée prints (pronounced [ʒiːˈkleɪ] "zhee-clay" English vision, French journal) exhibit preciseness and exquisite detail; resolutions reach up to 1800 dpi. The printing process uses a continuous stream of microscopic ink droplets to deposit the ink.
When printed on archival art papers and canvas, the Giclée has the look and feel of original fine art.
